Carol A. Sinclair

Carol A. Sinclair, 85, passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Surviving Carol are her two children Samuel Sinclair, Jr., and LynnMarie Lange and her husband Jeff; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, George E. Welch and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Sinclair, Sr., by their daughter, Kathy Cleland-both of whom passed in 2025 as well as by her brother, Kenneth Welch.

Carol was born in Pittsfield, Mass., the daughter of the late Kenneth L. Welch, Sr. and Isabel J. (Austin) Welch. At a young age, Carol's family relocated to Northborough. She was a graduate of Northborough High School and has remained a resident here for the remainder of her life.

For much of her life, Carol focused on caring for her family, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and keeping a welcoming home to family and friends. For 18 years Carol managed Sunbrite Laundry in Northborough. She was a longtime member of Trinity Church of Northborough.

Calling hours will be held between 4pm -6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Carol's funeral will be held at the funeral home at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, February 4. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough.
