NORTHBOROUGH

Inge Turner, 88, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Aschaffenburg, Germany, on February 8, 1937, Inge was the daughter of Julius Josef Worner and Josefine (Hirschbeck) Worner. Inge moved to the US in 1958 to Seattle, Washington, then made her way to Massachusetts in 1963, where she resided in Northborough, a place she has called home since. Inge was a long-time bartender, with her last stop being the Vincent F Picard American Legion Post 234, where she was employed for over 20 years.

Inge was a big animal lover and her joy was taking care of her own animals as well as her wild ones. Inge found passion and purpose in taking care of her family and everyone around her. She always made sure everyone was fed and happy. Inge was a hard worker, compassionate, a lover of many things, the most caring individual, a beautiful soul, and now a beautiful angel.

Inge is survived by her longtime companion Brian Quinton, her daughter Carmen Robichaud, son Tom Tecca, her grandchildren Thomas Braga and his wife Sasha Braga, Kristina Tecca, Joseph Braga, Rob Tecca, and Anaclaire Tecca. Inge also leaves her three great- grandchildren Uriel Mayo, Brooke Braga, and Camille Braga, as well as a large family in Germany. She will be sadly missed.

Family and friends whose lives Inge has touched are invited to the Vincent F Picard American Legion Post 234, between the hours of 2pm - 7 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026, for a Celebration of Inge's Life.

Liebe Tante Inge,
in meiner Kindheit warst Du für mich wie ein Filmstar. Ich betrachtete Dich auf Fotos, meine wunderschöne Tante, die im fernen Amerika lebte. Und wenn Du uns mit Deinen Kindern und Enkelkindern besuchtest war das immer ein großes Fest - ein Familienfest.
Bei Deinem letzten Besuch, hast Du auch meine kleine Tochter Zoë, meine große Tochter Christina und meine erste Enkeltochter Enya kennengelernt. Baby Enya wird bald 4 Jahre alt und sie hat jetzt eine kleine Schwester, sie heißt Kalea.
Deine kleine Nichte Lara ist jetzt also eine zweifache Oma.
Dein Leben hat Dich zu einem Weltbürger gemacht, ich wünsche Dir, dass Du nun als Engel jederzeit alle Menschen die Du vermisst, so oft besuchen kannst wie Du willst und leicht und fröhlich bei uns ein und ausgehst, so wie Du möchtest.
Wir sind als Familie in Liebe und Freundschaft verbunden. Und ich weiß, es kommt der Tag an dem wir uns alle wiedersehen.

Ich wünsche meiner großen Familie viel Kraft und Gottes Segen, wir lieben Euch alle.

Meine liebe Schwester Inge,
du bist 1959 nach Amerika gegangen. Ich war damals erst fünf Jahre alt, und doch warst du mir eine so wichtige große Schwester.
Es war schwer für mich, dass du so weit weg warst. Aber ich wusste, dass du all die Jahre bei uns warst. Und deine lieben Kinder. Das war ein tröstliches Gefühl.

Du, liebe Schwester, und deine Kinder habt euch auf die lange Reise zu uns begeben. Vielen, vielen Dank dafür.

Nun bist du für immer heimgekehrt, und ich weine um dich. Doch eines Tages werden wir uns wiedersehen. Ich vermisse dich so sehr.

you went to America in 1959. I was only 5 years old at that time and yet you were such an important big sister to me.
It was difficult for me that you were so far away. However, I knew you were there all these many years. And your lovely children. That was agood feeling.

You, dear sister and your children, have set out on the long journey to us. Sooo many thanks for that.

Now you have gone home forever and I cry for you. One day, however, we will meet again. I miss you very much.
