Carol A. Stevens, 81, of Wadsworth, passed away on October 17, 2024. She was born on August 31, 1943 the daughter of the late Robert and Peggy Hallbrook. She retired after many years of dedicated service as a Nurse Practioner. Carol lived a life that exemplified resilience, devotion, love and the power of dreams. Her strong will and determination led her through life's many challenges, allowing her to fulfill one of her cherished dreams: receiving her college degree. Everything Carol did in her life was driven by her boundless love for her loved ones, and she always sought to inspire those around her to pursue their own aspirations. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Lori Stevens; grandson Ricky Westfall; sister-in-law Sally Holbrook; and nephew Christopher Holbrook.
Carol is survived by her loving family, daughters Jacki Stevens and Crissi Stevens; brother Randy Holbrook; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 24th, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where Memorial Services will be held at 3:00pm with Pastor Aidan Finn officiating.
