Carol Ann Thibault passed away on October 17, 2025 in Canton, Michigan at the age of 79. Born on November 19, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Carol was the cherished daughter of Edward and Wanda, who preceded her in death.

A devoted homemaker, Carol dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and resilience. She found immense happiness in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching baseball and wrestling, and was known for her spirited enjoyment of an adult beverage, especially a Sex on the Beach after a good softball game. Her free spirit and zest for life were evident to all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Thibault. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Michele (Al) Sprau, Chris Sherwood, and Darryl (Rachael) Thibault, as well as her step-son, Donald (Jennifer) Thibault. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren-Ryan, Kady, Megan, Shelby, Jayla, Braydon, Mckenna, Kenneth, and Olivia-and great-grandchildren-Karlee, Clara, Lucas, McKinlee, and Ella. Carol is also survived by her brother, Michael Rutkowski, and her niece, Andrea Rutkowski, who will miss her dearly.

Cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory," located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, where Carol's spirit will be honored and cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
