Carol Zieschang "Kitten" Tomlinson

Carol "Kitten" Marie Zieschang Tomlinson, age 65, beloved mother to two, was sent to her eternal home on November 29, 2025, at her residence. She was born April 6th, 1960, El Campo, Texas, a daughter of the late A.R and Kathryn Zieschang.

Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. She had a love of flying, enjoyed volunteering for the community, and was a proud member of Texas A&M class of '90.

Carol is survived by her son William Tomlinson Jr., daughter Hope Tomlinson, sister Sarah Zieschang Bender, lifelong friend and former husband William Marshal Tomlinson; and beloved dog Peanut.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Allen Zieschang.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3 at Triska Funeral Home with a CDA Rosary recited at 6 p.m. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 4 at St. Philip Catholic Church with the Rev. Dalton Ervin officiating.

Pallbearers are Craig Terrell, Dusty Roades, Gerry Mikeska, William Marshall Tomlinson, Alex Tamez, and Chad Graham.

There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to our neighbors who were there for us. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters.

Donations in memory of Carol Tomlinson may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
