Carol Sue Walters-Ross

Carol Sue Walters-Ross, 91, passed away February 10, 2026, at her home in Maysville, MO, surrounded by her children and caregivers.

Sue was born July 5, 1934, to LE and Anna Laura Webber. They passed away in 2000, as well as her sister, Jean Ann Wayman.

She married Harry Walters in 1955 and were married just over 25 years. To this union there were three children: Jeff (Kim) Walters, Tim Walters, King City, Leslie (Blake) Smith. Cameron. Harry preceded her in death May 30, 1982.

On February 12, 1988, she Married Lloyd Ross in Fairport MO. He preceded her in death July 18, 2007.

Sue is survived by her children and step children: Linda (Charlie) Ortman and Stuart Ross of Kansas City.

Sue was a member of the Fairport Baptist Church. She had a very deep faith in Jesus Christ, prayed for her family, and loved sharing the word of God with others.

Sue adored her 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She attended many events to support her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially loved attending summer ballgames watching from her car ~ honking her horn and flashing her car lights when they did something good. She also attended various other events supporting these kiddos.

Grandchildren – Kassie (Chris), Jessica (Daniel), Lacey (Jeremy), Webber (Bo), Josh (Mallory), Courtney (Adam), Whitney (Kiley), Brittany (Dakota), Ty (Molly), Lexi, Arlie (Colemen).

Great-grandchildren – Kaden, Collleen (Justin), Kaylor, Klaire, Evan, Jacob, Anna, Lucas, Beckett, Tatum, Lennon, Trevor, Tinley, Chandler, Collin, Brinley, Kohen, Emmalyn, Cooper, Ledger, Waylon, Daisey and Ms. Wyatt is on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 13, 2026, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, with burial immediately following at the King City Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sue's honor to the Fairport Baptist Church.
