Carol Ann Weese, age 85, of S. Weymouth passed away on November 5, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Carol was born and raised in Neponset in St Ann's Parish. She graduated Dorchester High in 1957 and shortly after joined the Sister's of St. Joseph where she served the church for 10 years as Sister Ellen Regina.
Carol married the love of her life, Edward "Buck" Weese, in 1971 and after spending a few years in Neponset, they bought a house on Park Ave in S. Weymouth where they have lived since. Carol has been a staple at St. Francis Xavier Parish for over 40 years. Volunteering as, among other roles, as a Eucharistic Minister, alter server, and a CCD teacher. All the members of St Francis have truly lost a gem, Carol was a modest woman who did much more to help others than anyone ever knew.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward "Buck" Weese, five sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by 30 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, and was blessed to have great-great-nieces and nephews who will miss her presence in their lives very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation for Carol on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Friends will gather in the funeral home at 9am on Tuesday morning for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass which will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church in S. Weymouth at 10am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton to immediately follow the Mass. Donations may be made in Carol's name to www.cancer.org
