Carol Lee Wells, born on February 17, 1951, in Highland Park, Michigan, passed away on October 3, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 74. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol was a beacon of joy and warmth, someone you couldn't help but love from the moment you met her. Her sense of humor was legendary, filled with corny jokes that never failed to bring smiles to those around her. Her laughter was truly infectious, lighting up every room she entered.

A devoted family woman, Carol cherished her time with her beloved husband of 53 years, Tom Wells, and their son, Jason Wells. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren, Alyssa (Josh Coaltrain) Wells, Elijah (Jessie) Wells, Delaney (Cainen) Spencer, and Isaac Wells, as well as her five great-grandchildren, Harleigh, Nola, Arrow, Elijah, Jr., and Mateo. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth (Dennis) Burger, brothers-in-law Bob (Dolores) Wells, Tim (Martha) Wells, Dan Wells, and Joe (Jatawne) Wells, and daughter-in-law Jessica (Wells) Chumbley. Carol's extended family includes many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Carol's life was enriched by her deep love for her church, Southpoint Church, and her community at the Huron Valley Eagles Club. She had a passion for the color purple, which reflected her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Preceded in death by her in-laws, Robert and Lois Wells, and her very dear friend, Jennifer Aldridge, Carol leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith.

A visitation to celebrate Carol's life will be held at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Military OneSource in memory of Carol by clicking the button to the left.

Carol Lee Wells touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and love. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her, reminding us to cherish each moment and spread joy wherever we go.
