Carol is survived by her loving husband; Joseph Wersching, children; Tyka (Richard) Schuelke, Timothy Michael Kelley, Tabitha (Ernest, Jr.) Kear, grandchildren; Lucas Pacheco, Hailey (Bradley) Summers, Ernest "Buddy" Kear III, great-grandchildren; Neal Summers, Louise Carol Summer's, Ashley Mary Summer's, brother; Robert (Dori) Moody, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Catherine Moody.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory. Interment private. Memorials in Carol's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Rest in peace, sweet Carol. You are the glue that held everything together. We will miss a true matriarch. When we met, I was a teenager and you were a mother of three. You always saw through the shenanigans with me and Tyka, but you let us live our lives with a watchful, caring eye over each of us. I admire you for your strength, perseverance, and love that you shared with everyone you came in contact with. Most of all, I will remember your laugh, and your willingness to look at any situation with a happy heart and smile on your face. There was never anything too big for you to overcome. Hugs to you sweet sister until I see you again. You had a life well lived. HUGS!!!
