Carole Olson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Farewell Funeral Service - Palm Bluffs on Jan. 12, 2026.
Carole Olson passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by the love of her family. Carole will be remembered as a woman of kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion-a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by her deep care for others.

In 1960, Carole married her high school sweetheart, Clayton Olson, beginning a beautiful journey together that spanned more than six decades. While Clayton pursued his studies at the University of Washington, Carole worked there with dedication and grace. After his graduation in 1963, their adventure took them to Portland, Oregon, and later to Fresno, California, where they settled in 1966. In 1971, Clayton founded California Building Materials, and Carole worked tirelessly by his side, helping build the business before choosing her most cherished role-homemaker and mother-to raise their two children, Clarke and Cheryl.

Family was Carole's greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment. Her love grew even deeper with the arrival of her four grandsons, who gave her the treasured title of "Momo." Nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her family, sharing laughter, stories, and unconditional love.

Carole is survived by her son Clarke and his wife Jeri, her daughter Cheryl and her husband Troy, her beloved grandsons Connor, Tyler, Carson, and Tanner, and her sister Trisha and brothers Butch and Jerry. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
