Carole Lee Shell, 91, of
Brooklyn, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospice Home. Carole's family and friends will gather Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel. Her Funeral service will be at 11:00 am. Pastor Greg Burkeen will serve as officiant. Interment to follow at Norvell Cemetery.
She was born on March 12, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Gerald and Florence (Humphrys) Stubbs. Carole married the love of her life, whom she has known since she was 13 years old, Jack Shell, on September 18, 1954 in
Brooklyn, Michigan. They had 71 blessed years together. She will be remembered for her genuine endless love for her family and kind nature to all she met. Carole is a graduate of Brooklyn High School. She continued her education with some college passing her thirst of knowledge on to her family. Carole was amazing with numbers, doing the family taxes right to the end. She was very strong in her faith, and wanted to make sure everyone knew Jesus. Carole was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a terrific sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, being detail oriented. Carole thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds, especially the blue birds. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carole is survived by her loving husband, Jack; her children, Laurinda Shell and Jack (Linda) Shell and daughter -in-law, Chere Shell; 2 sisters, Betty Shell and Diane; grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve Scott) Rhodes, Geoffery Bagwell, Christopher (Chuck Walters) Shell, Benjamin Shell, Lindsey Rose, Lauren Shell and Leanna (Bruce) Stokes; great grandchildren Michael, Zachery, Sarah, Eliza, Peyton, Benjamin, Lainy, Connor, Logan and Emma; a special niece, Betty Jo. Not to be forgotten, her special friends, Paula and Don; Dennis and Elaine. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Florence; a son, Michael; grandson, Brenton; and siblings, Gerald (Doris) Stubbs, Joyce (Bill) Nichols and Clifford Stubbs.
