Carole Vuttera

Carole Vuttera, 70, of Rockford, Illinois, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 22nd, 2022, at Swedish American Hospital. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 5th, 1951, to Richard and Lucille (Kuzniewicz) Leonardson. Carole enjoyed gardening and had a great affection for animals especially for her rescue pup Rocky. She cherished her photographs and often spoke of visiting the white sand beaches of Clearwater, Florida to collect seashells. She was a true crime enthusiast and enjoyed movies and reading. She treasured her family and her two children Sarah Rose and Marty. Bona (grandma) Carole had a special bond with her granddaughters Scarlett and Aurora. She was like a mother to many and had a sweet and loving presence and taught unconditional love to us all.
She is survived by her children Sarah Rose (Jon) Widell and Martin Vuttera.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be by Saturday August 6th, 2022, time 12 noon at the Sundberg Funeral Home in Rockford, Illinois. Pastor Mark Taylor of City First Church to officiate. Friends may visit form 11:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service
