Carole Wenger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Jan. 16, 2026.
Carole Lynn Wenger, 90, of Newtown, PA, passed into the fullness of life eternal on January 15, 2026. Born in Pittsfield, MA Carole Lynn Stutz, daughter of Herbert and Claudine Stutz, she experienced spiritual rebirth through faith in Jesus Christ as a teenager at Pinebrook Bible Conference near Stroudsburg, PA.

Carole graduated with high honors from Pittsfield High School and The King's College of Briarcliff Manor, NY, excelling especially in mathematics and science. She married Robert Wenger, a college classmate, in 1957, and their marriage was blessed with four children-Carla, Alan, David, and Eric.

She lived 21 years in Omaha, NE, where she brought up her family. In addition, she taught Sunday School, played the piano for school and church events, and typed papers for Bob.

Following her move to Newtown, PA in 1983, Carole worked on the staff of Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University) of Langhorne for 27 years, most of that time as Executive Assistant to the President. She retired in 2011. She was a member of Grace Point Church of Newtown.

Carole is survived by her husband Bob, her sisters Claudia Wells and Muriel Brown, her four children, and seven grandchildren-Jonathan and Rachel Habel, Sarah and Anna Wenger, Braden Blowers, and Nancy and David Wenger.

While her long, useful life and her promotion to glory are just cause for celebration, her presence will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend Carole's Life Celebration on Friday January 23, 2026 at 11 Am at Grace Point Church 592 Washington Crossing Rd. Newtown, Pa. 18940. Visitation will be from 10 to 11AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Pa. will be private under the care of Swartz Givnish Funeral Home, Newtown, PA.
