Carole Ann Young

Carole Ann (Jones) Young, age 80 of Martinsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends on Sunday morning, March 8, 2026.

She is survived by her children: Donna Stevens (David), John Young (Miss Arlene), Jim Young (Heather). Sister: Teresa Gilbrech (Raymond); Sister-in-Law Charlotte Weasner Hall (James); Brother-in-Law: Rusty Spinks.

Grandchildren: Brandon Puckett (Jordan), Nick Stevens (Leidy), Codey Young (Abby), Chloe Young (Lucas). 

Great Grandchildren: Bentlee, Lainey, and Adaleigh.

Carole is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Closest friends: Carol Keller (Bill), Judy Lowery, Bob Waddell, Sandy Cloyd (Earl), Mary Johnson, and countless many others. 

Carole never met a stranger and loved talking to people!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Mildred Jones, her loving Husband, Daniel Lee Young, Brother Don Jones, Sister-in-Laws Betty Jones, Patty Spinks, and Janet Wilson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friend Donita Ashburn, and her best buddy for so many years, her little dog Sissy!

The family wishes to thank all those that had a part in her care over the last several years. She was truly special to all that met her.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222. 

Her funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Pastor Mark Hall will officiate. 

A reception will follow also at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park Funeral Center.

The family suggests memorial donations in Carole's memory be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to any Humane Society.
