William I. Nester

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved one, William I. Nester who passed away on March 3, 2026 at the age of 70. Bill was born on January 1, 1956 in Indianapolis Indiana to Paul and Pauline (Knarzer). He is survived by his wife Reda (Sharp) sons Aaron (Stef), Shane Nester. Grandchildren Kyle and Emily. Siblings: Robert Nester, Don (Betty) Nester. Throughout his life, he was known for his strength, kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family. He lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and the values he passed down to those who knew him best. He was a devoted father, family man, and friend, someone who always showed up when it mattered most. Whether it was offering advice, coaching ,sharing stories, or simply being present, he had a way of making the people around him feel supported and loved. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught and the memories he created. William will be remembered for his character, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his influence and memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Funeral/ Mass service will be held on March 12th at St Christopher Catholic Church for those who wish to celebrate his life and say their final goodbyes. Calling at 10:00am with Mass Service at 11:00 am. Burial at Floral Park Cemetery Indianapolis. Luncheon following burial- location TBD. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
