Caroline Atchison Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. - Charlotte Hall on Jan. 21, 2026.
Caroline Lee Atchison, of North Beach, Maryland, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on January 1, 1962, to William and Patricia Blackwell.

Caroline was the heart of her family, a beautiful soul whose presence lit up every room she entered. She was someone you could always count on, caring and loving, always there whenever she was needed. Her family meant everything to her, and she poured her love into every role she held.

She is survived by her son, Gary Crampton; her grandchildren, Dominic Crampton, Aubrey Crampton, and Kaylee Crampton; and her great-grandchild, Dominic Crampton, Jr. She is also survived by her sisters, Kim Grenier and Donna Mendez, along with numerous nieces and nephews who were very dear to her.

Caroline was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soulmate, William Atchison, whose love she carried with her always. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Patricia Blackwell, and her sisters, Patricia Crampton, Sherry Rakowski, Sandra Bridgett, and Tammy Shabani.

Caroline dedicated her working years as a bus driver, a role that reflected her dependable nature, strong work ethic, and care for others. Outside of work, she found joy in life's simple and meaningful pleasures. She loved being near the beach, taking peaceful walks, cherished her cats as family, and enjoyed shopping, purses, and the little things that brought beauty into everyday life. A woman of deep faith, Caroline loved God endlessly, and her beliefs guided her life with grace, kindness, and quiet strength.

Above all else, Caroline will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend-someone whose name and love will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Prayers will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Caroline's warmth, faith, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her forever.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

- 1 Corinthians 13:13
