Caroline L. Dailey, 87, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was born on February 29, 1936.
Caroline is preceded in passing by her parents, James and Elmina (Mann) Carpenter; husband, Edward Dailey; brothers, Robert, Ralph, Elwood, and Junior; sisters, Catherine and Marcile.
She is survived by her three children, Ed Dailey, Jeff (Delores) Dailey, and Steven Dailey; grandchildren, Justin (Brittany) Dailey and Brett (Morgan) Dailey and four great-grandchildren.
Caroline retired from Market House Produce in 1993 after working for 21 years there. She also worked at Gleis Orchard. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting and crocheting and making sure everyone always had a full stomach with her home cooking. She was also very competitive when it came to games, especially many nights of playing Yahtzee.
At her request cremation has taken place and there will be no additional services at this time. Please visit www.hamptonfuneralhomes.com to sign the guestbook and/or send a condolence to the family. Memorial Contributions can be made in Caroline's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
