Ollie is survived by his wife, Ruby Jane Cole; four children, Joan Bastien, Duane Cole, Linda (Darrel) Johansen, and Dennis (Sheila) Cole; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Eric, Michael II, Dustin, Deric, Latasha, Amanda, Monica, Ryan, Melinda, and Duane O.; several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in passing by his son, Danny Cole; son-in-law, Michael Bastien; and several siblings.
Ollie was known for his love of gardening and was featured in the newspaper for his lavish display of mums. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, fishing, and digging ponds. He also had a gift and love for playing music.
A funeral service to honor his life will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale on Saturday, August 16, 2025 beginning at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Jefferson Township. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
