Born in Boston on November 22, 1928, daughter of the late Rasmus M. and Caroline (Burke) Hansen. Caroline grew up in Roslindale and later joined the Sisters of Divine Providence, with whom she obtained her master's degree. She met her husband, Bill, while teaching math at Sacred Heart in Kingston.
A graveside service will take place at Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland, on Tuesday, March 5th, at 11:00 am. Donations in Caroline's memory may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle Suite 326, Plymouth MA 02360.
