Caroline was born January 16, 1932, in Flint, to the late Harry and Ruth (Babcock) Harsen. She attended Mt. Morris and Millington Community Schools. On July 27, 1951, she married the love of her life, Orville Hatt, and together they shared 66 years of marriage. Orville preceded her in death on January 1, 2018. Caroline enjoyed waitressing for some time but was most proud to be a stay-at-home mother raising her three beautiful children for much of her life. She and Orville took great pride in raising their little family together and took their children to do something nearly every weekend – whether it was traveling or staying local, they were a tight-knit group and loved being together. Caroline loved cooking, playing bingo, and visiting the casino later in life. She was the most warm-hearted, caring woman who always put others before herself, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Caroline is forever loved by: Children: Carol (Ken) Johnson, Emma Hatt, and William "Bill" (Nannette) Hatt; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Caroline was preceded in death by: Husband, Orville; Grandson, Jacob Hatt; Parents, Harry and Ruth; Siblings: Don, John, Dorothy, and Anabelle.
