Caroline Patricia Heiberger

Carol P. Heiberger, age 61, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, died Monday, June 2, 2025, at home.
Born June 30, 1963, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Alice (VonGarel) Bisking and the late Harry Clifford Bisking. She married her husband and love of her life, Peter Martin Heiberger, in 1989.
Formerly of Rock Tavern, NY, she had been of Fawn Lake Forest for 18 years. Although she worked several different jobs over the years, the last she worked was a Waitressing position at Woodloch Pines Resort in Hawley. She eventually had to leave 10 years ago due to her disease.
Carol bravely fought for 18 years with the devastating effects of scleroderma and the associated pulmonary hypertension.
She is survived by her husband: Peter Martin Heiberger of Hawley; one daughter: Karissa Heiberger and her fiance' Brandon Compton of Hawley; her mother: Alice (VonGarel) Bisking of Newburgh, NY; one sister: Karen Grimm of Newburgh, NY; and two grandchildren: Saige and Xander Compton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Bisking.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 6, from 1 to 3 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will begin at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Father William A. Mentz officiating.
Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
