Caroline Palmo Obituary
At 80 years old, Caroline passed away peacefully surrounded by family after after fighting her battle for months.Born in South Philadelphia to an Italian-American family, Caroline had a flare for fashion, music, dancing, crafts and animals, especially her baby Shelby. She was a true South Philadelphian, and was known by many in her neighborhood from her daily walks around town.
Caroline is predeceased by her father Daniel Palmo, brother Joseph John Palmo and longtime companion, Gus Rossi.
Caroline is survived by her mother Theresa Palmo, age 97, daughter Desiree DiDonato (Jason), grandchildren Jesse Davis (Lisa), Giavana (Anthony) and Rocco DiDonato, great-grandchildren Angelina and Jesse Davis, siblings Mary Pilla (Blase), Robert Palmo (Juliana), and Daniel Palmo. She was the loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Caroline also leaves behind her friend and caretaker, Victoria Carestio whom she loved dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 8:30AM-10:00AM. Followed by funeral services at 10:00AM (At Monti-Rago Funeral Home). Internment, Calvary Cemetery, Chery Hill, New Jersey.
