Catherine Clark

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Catherine Clark, affectionately known as Kate, on February 13, 2026. Born on October 2, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, Catherine's life was a testament to the courage, generosity, and love she brought to all around her. An engaging spirit, she was known for her compassionate heart, caring for others as a dedicated Nurse's Aide, and in her personal life as a loving mother, sister, and friend.

Catherine's generosity extended beyond her work in healthcare, reaching into her love for family. A devoted mother, she leaves behind her children Gregory (Sandy), Brian (Erin), Mary Kate (Roy) and Thomas (Jackie). She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Sheri, Jessica, Jason, Austin, Gregory, Rebecca, Teagen, Makayla, Scarlette, Evangeline, Aidan, Kallie, Connor, Kelsey, her great grandchildren Adalynn and Christopher. She also leaves behind her siblings Mark Leidtke, John Leidtke and Donna Armstrong. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Teresa Leidtke, and loving son, Shaun. Her courage was ever present, even in the face of personal loss, and her love for her family was unwavering. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her world.

Kate's love for life was evident in her hobbies, which included sightseeing, traveling, venturing into the wilderness, gardening, and bird watching. Her spirit of adventure and love for nature were contagious, inspiring those around her to embrace life's simple pleasures. Retirement never meant slowing down for Catherine, it was an opportunity to further explore the world and spend time with her loved ones. A vibrant, compassionate, and loving soul, Catherine's life was a true celebration of resilience and love.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Catherine's family on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136. Her service to celebrate her life will follow 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's request.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Holy Redeemer Hospital, would be appreciated.
