Carolyn Sarah Christensen, was born in Lodi Ohio on December 7, 1948 to Harry Carl Shriver and Priscilla Gertrude McMillan. She was the youngest of 4 sisters. Cindy Germscheid, Judy Burrows and Betty Lepley. She was married to John Christensen in 1977, the pair each brought children to the union rounding out the family to 7 kids. That family has grown to 14 Grandkids, and almost 10 Great Grandkids. She gave the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it, she opened her home to every kid in the neighborhood. She was colorful, creative and was a bundle of energy. She loved and lost many in her lifetime but found as many ways to remain upbeat as she could, even through 4 family members deploying in 3 different campaigns, loss of her first born, the loss of a second son, 11 years of having Parkinson's, the loss of her sister and finally her husband just two years ago. She will always be remembered for the smiles, the joy, the shenanigans and amazing creativity! We love you to the moon and back Mama, we are at peace knowing Aunt Cindy, Dad, Pat and RJ are protecting you in the next life. Don't worry Mama, I've got overwatch.
