Carolyn Gaiennie Cintron, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on April 27, 1940, in Houston, Texas to Roland and Louise Gaiennie. Carolyn graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas in 1958, and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech College in 1962 followed by additional studies at North Texas State University and the University of Houston.
While at Texas Tech College, Carolyn met and married the love of her life, John Cintron, Jr. They were married for 61 years.
Carolyn was a dedicated teacher who taught in New Home, Texas, Plano, Texas, Lafayette, Louisiana, and St Jerome School in Houston, Texas where she also served as principal for 10 years.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Louise Gaiennie, and her brother, Ivan Gaiennie. She is survived by her loving husband, John, and three children: Deborah Vincent, Kenneth Cintron, and Catherine and husband Jeff Goodwin, and her sister Marion and husband Bill Mondshine. She is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren: Kayla and husband Austin Hennigan, Kevin Goodwin, and Jarod Vincent.
Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Carolyn during a visitation to be held from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas.
In lieu of customary remembrances, please consider donations to St. Jerome Catholic School (8825 Kempwood, Houston, TX 77080) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
