Carolyn Albert Deeter

Carolyn Elizabeth Albert Deeter, 82, of Bedford passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born in Bedford County, VA on March 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Henry Lewis Albert and Martha Elizabeth Holland Albert. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ellsworth Deeter, and siblings, Sylvia and Bobby. 

Carolyn was a lifelong member of Bedford Christian Church. She worked as a self-employed beautician. She enjoyed playing cards and board games, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter Karen Deeter Cox (Mike); son, Troy Deeter (Jennifer); grandchildren, Megan (Larry), Justine, Rebecca, Danielle (Matthew), Kaitlyn, Joshua; Great-grandchildren, Piper, Myles, Riley, Magnolia; sisters, Martha Anne (Jimmy), Linda (John), Pam (Steve); numerous nieces and nephews and other family.

The family would like to thank Carolyn’s care givers, Nikki Stevens, Mitchell Abell, and Beth Clark, for their wonderful care and compassion. 

A Memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 pm Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Bedford Christian Church with Dr. David Walton officiating.
