Born November 12, 1947, in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Frost Bowers. Carolyn was a devoted mother, friend, and grandmother who was affectionately known as "Nanny" to most who knew her.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas O. Foxworth, Jr. (Teresa), Ray Foxworth, and Chris Foxworth (Mandy) all of Dalzell; a daughter, Jennifer Waynick (Ben) of Camden; seven grandchildren, Aubrey Shepard (Dylan), Zachary Foxworth (Caitlyn), Gavin Foxworth (Carrie), Allison Weatherly (Richard), Danni Lynn Waynick, Benjamin Carnell, and Sawyer Carnell; three great-grandchildren, Harper Foworth, Caden Foxworth, and Colton Foxworth; two sisters, Janice Robinson (Tommy) and Annette Easterberg (Richard); a brother, Ricky Frost (Tammy); and an honorary son, Paul Bailey.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David Frost; and a sister, Marilyn Ford.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating assisted by the Rev. Rex Prescott. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Rembert.
Pallbearers will be Paul Bailey, Barry Ray, Richard Weatherly, Zachary Foxworth, Gavin Foxworth, Dylan Shepard, and Sawyer Carnell.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, October 31, 2025, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
