Carolyn Fudge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greene Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel on Dec. 9, 2025.
Carolyn Anne Fudge, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, at her home in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Born on February 24, 1941, Carolyn lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth, illuminating the lives of all who knew her. She was 84 years old.

Born in Rock Hill, SC, Carolyn was the cherished daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jessie M. Stroud. She was preceded in death by her parents, who instilled in her the values of hard work and kindness that would define her life.

Carolyn was married to her loving husband, John, for an extraordinary 67 years. Together, they built a life filled with love and support, raising a family that includes their two sons, Tim Fudge of Rock Hill, SC, and Chris Fudge (Denise) of Chester, SC. Carolyn's legacy continues through her five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and two step-great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her and were the light of her life.

Carolyn dedicated 32 years of her life to working at Celanese, where she served as a supervisor. Her colleagues admired her for her strong work ethic and her easy-going personality. Despite her professional commitments, Carolyn always made time for her family, who were her greatest joy. She was known for her remarkable cooking skills, especially her Sunday dinners that brought the whole family together.

An avid fan of crossword puzzles, Carolyn found joy in challenging her mind while also enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Her easy-going nature and love for family created a warm and welcoming home for everyone who visited.

Carolyn's Celebration of Life service will be held on December 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

As we remember Carolyn, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be profoundly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. In honoring her memory, let us carry forward her legacy of kindness, family devotion, and the love of good food shared around the dinner table.
