Carolyn Marie Gillam, 79, passed away September 9, 2025 at her residence. Carolyn was born April 30, 1946 in Bluffton to the late John and Gertrude (Edgecomb) Ingmire. She married Michael Gillam who preceded her in death on March 24, 2000.

Carolyn graduated from Bluffton High School. She worked at various companies in retail sales. Carolyn attended the Beaverdam Church of Christ and enjoyed her Bible study group at Vance Street apartments. She enjoyed sewing, her dog, Abby, was an excellent seamstress and will always be remembered for making others laugh with her sense of humor. Carolyn was deeply loved and will be missed by many especially her sister, Loretta.

Survivors include three siblings, Loretta Leeson of Bridgeport, West Virginia, Sandra (Ed) Vaske of Ft. Jennings and Gary Fisher of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Michelle Blubaugh-Beery of Bluffton and Leslie Blubaugh of Lima; two nieces, Heidi Bucher and Jennifer Fontenot and a nephew, Brian (Akiko Nakata) Leeson.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, John Leeson.

A private service will be held to remember Carolyn.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton Hospital, 139 Garau Street, Bluffton, Ohio 45817.
