Carolyn Goodman was born on August 2, 1936 in Booneville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Forrest Rexford Bugher, Sr. and Eunice Lola Parker Yoakum.
On June 28, 1980, she was united in marriage to J.C. Goodman, who preceded his wife in death on September 2, 2011.
Carolyn worked for Dana Corporation in Olive Branch, Mississippi in administration. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Carolyn Goodman departed this life on October 28, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 26 days.
She is survived by her son, Mark Reel (Kathy) of Collierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Isaiah Travis Whaley, Mark Kendall Reel, Christopher Lockwood, Alese L. Cousins (Sam), and V. Paige Duheme (Connor); great grandchildren, Seth Lockwood, Timothy Lockwood, Helena Lockwood, Liam Spurgeon, and Sawyer Levi Duheme; niece, Shari B. Littlejohn (Barry); stepdaughter, Sheila Goodman; step grandson, Stephen Goodman; and step great grandson, Liam Dial.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Forrest Rexford Bugher, Jr.; brother in law, Derlon Goodman; and sister in law, Virginia Scott.
