Carolyn May Grasso, 75, of Canyon Drive, Coventry, passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 55 wonderful years to Dennis J. Grasso.

Born in Providence, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Duffy) Schultheiss.

Carolyn had a career in bookkeeping spanning 20 years at Builders Surplus, and devoted much of her free time to her family, which brought her immeasurable joy, particularly the moments spent with her grandchildren.

Carolyn's passions included gardening and traveling, with fond memories of her numerous trips to Disney World, several unforgettable cruises, and vacations in the beautiful state of Maine.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two loving children, Joseph D. Grasso of Coventry and Stacey L. Nolan and her husband Todd of Warwick; a brother, Raymond Schultheiss and his wife Diane of Beverly Hills, FL and five grandchildren, Evan, Zackary and Kiera Nolan and Gianna and Miles Grasso.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Barrett and Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn's name to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) would be appreciated.
