Carolyn Sue Greer Boaz, 80, of Owensboro, was born on November 4, 1944, in Owensboro to the late Samuel and Alta Wingfield Greer. She left this earth on October 16, 2025. Carolyn was a teachers aid early in life and then followed her dream of becoming a floral designer, working for several local florists here in Owensboro.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Vanover in 2019; and a sister, Shirley Vetter in 2005.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Woodrow H. Boaz Jr.; a daughter, Christa Boaz; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
