Carolyn Keller, age 87 of Lake Hopatcong, NJ passed away Saturday November 22, 2025 following a long illness. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Carolyn grew up in Secaucus and lived in North Bergen before moving to her home in Lake Hopatcong. A longtime resident, Carolyn enjoyed the outdoors, her many adopted dogs and boating on the lake with her life partner, Bob.

Daughter of the late Oscar and Irma (Giuliani) Keller, Carolyn was a graduate of New York University, earning her Bachelor's degree inPsychology. And she was especially proud of her 52-year career as an Executive Administrative Assistant at NYU. Described as fun, friendly, and compassionate by many - Carolyn supported countless charities and volunteered her time; most notably at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ. As a member of the Jefferson Township Senior Center, Carolyn also participated in social and civic activities and connected with her neighbors as a part of the senior outreach program.

Additionally, Carolyn enjoyed singing in choirs, line-dancing with friends and traveling. She looked forward to her annual trip to Wildwood, NJ, and spent time in Alaska, Mexico, Las Vegas, and other destinations. She even backpacked across Europe.

Carolyn was predeceased by her beloved partner, Bob Berry and older brother, August Keller. Survivors include: sister Jane, and husband Robert Saporito; sister-in-law, Patricia Keller; niece, Denise Keller, and husband Phil Montuori; nephew, Eugene Keller, and wife Catalina Colon; niece Michelle, and husband Jason Insley; niece, Laura, and husband Chuck Waldron - and several grand nieces/nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM; followed by services and words of remembrance at the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 1 Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ 07801. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn's memory may be made to Eleventh Hour Rescue, Mount Olive, NJ.
