Carolyn Little, 87, of Brandon, MS passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her husband and children on Friday, August 29, 2025. Carolyn graduated from Eupora High School in 1955 and moved to Greenwood to begin a lifelong career with South Central Bell. She met and married her sweetheart, Frank Little in 1959, and together they raised two daughters, Michelle and Jennifer. Carolyn was a founding member of Christ Baptist Church and a Telephone Pioneer of America. After relocating to Brandon in 1988, she retired a few years later to enjoy her new role as “Granny”. She was a faithful member of Park Place Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James H. (Bilbo) and Kathareen Cooper Wright; brothers Robert Wright, Don Wright, Jim Wright; and sister Joyce Clodfelter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Frank Little; daughters Michelle Frank and Jennifer (Dee) Taylor; grandchildren Josh (Jordan, fiancé) Taylor, Anthony (Kelsey) Frank, and Jordan Taylor (Sam) Balding; and three great grandchildren Livian Taylor, Ellery Taylor and Levi Frank.
Services will be held Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, with Dr. Keith Grubbs officiating. Visitation begins at 1:00, service will be held at 2:30. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Jenia Medders, who poured her heart into caring for Carolyn.
