She was born on July 13, 1941, in Cincinnati, OH to Howard Lorane and Iva (Jones) Setters. She graduated from Centerburg High School.
Carolyn worked for many years in furniture sales and interior decorating. She loved her family dearly and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She enjoyed her flower garden, decorating her home, and flipping houses with her husband, William "Bill" Metlak.
Left to cherish Carolyn's memory are her daughter, Renee (Kurt Edgecombe) Rockwell; grandson, Troy (Deena) Mangrum; and great-grandchildren: Aden, Tessa, and Isabella. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years until his passing, Bill Matlak; son, Randall Rockwell; grandchild, Dustin Mangrum; and brothers: Spencer and Dale Setters.
She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

I have to many joyous memories of Carolyn to count. She was kind to me , helpful and merciful. My teenage years were made better for knowing her! My favorite memory is watching her roll up her sleeves and dive in to work when she didn´t have to ... her nature was to help.
