Carolyn Rose Miller

Carolyn Rose Miller, 93 of Huntington passed away at 6:52 am Friday November 21, 2025, at her residence. She was born on September 14,1932 in Huntington to the late Carl Leroy and Vivian Margarite Soper Mickley. Her marriage was in 1950 to Marland Dale Miller and he preceded her in death December 16, 2001.

Carolyn attended the Church of the Nazarene in Huntington. Following her husband's passing she formed her own widows' ministry to help her and others following the death of their spouses. She was a volunteer at the church food pantry.

Carolyn owned and operated Carolyn's Cake House in Huntington for 56 years.

She is survived by her children Terry Lee (Marta Sue) Miller of Huntington, Mickey David Miller of Tucson, AZ and Tina (Henry) Hoffman of Ft. Wayne. Her siblings Sue Mickley of Huntington, Gary (Nancy) Mickley of Huntington and James Mickley of Ft. Wayne. Also surviving are her grandchildren Trisha Schwing, Alyssa Dinius, Kit Mast, Kara Pinkerton, Michaela Nolan, Genevieve Miller, Lilliana Rose Miller, Christopher Hoffman, Alexander Hoffman, Chelsea Brown and Angela Hoffman. Great- grandchildren Benjamin Dinius, Madison Pinkerton, Blaise Pinkerton, Xavier Pinkerton, Molly Pinkerton, Rhett Mast, Ryder Mast, Farrah Dinius, Morgan Schwing and Wesley Brown.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation is from 10 am until funeral service at 11am. Monday November 24,2025 at the Church of the Nazarene in Huntington with Dr. Scott Rainey. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery Marion, IN.
