Carolyn Sue (Duff) Moore, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 8th, 2025. Carolyn was born on April 18, 1939, to Loren V. Duff and Mary Virginia (Boswell) Duff, devoted Nazarene evangelists. Carolyn grew up with her two siblings. She attended Burge Terrace Baptist church with many of her closest friends.
Carolyn worked as an executive assistant to the CEO at LS Ayers. Carolyn was a woman of God, keeper of scripture, prayer warrior, classical pianist, loved cooking, traveling, reading, and being with her family.
She was surpassed by the love of her life Leston S Moore, Sr and son Christopher B Moore, Sr. She was survived by her children Leston S Moore, Jr; Kelly (John) Willock, and [her favorite ] Jennifer (Jeff) King. She was “Nana” to 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Carolyn will take place Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 3:00-7:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will be held the following day on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 11:00am, followed by placement at her final resting place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
