Carolyn Sue Nestor Light, 80, entered into the kingdom of Heaven on August 5, 2025. She made her home in Fairmont with her daughter, Cindy Summers, granddaughter, NaTasha Myers, and ex-son-in-law, Bill Summers, who were her caregivers during her illness. Carolyn is also survived by one grandson, John Brian Nestor, and two great-grandsons, Johnny R. Nestor and John G. Nestor. Two stepchildren also survived by her: Michele Ealy, her husband, Gary, and their children, Travis and Kayla. And Clifton Jr. and sons. CJ and Riley. A sister, Janice Kendrick, sister -in-law Judy Nestor, and brother-in-law, Edward Loeffelbein. Several nieces and nephews
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Lula Belle Kisner Conrad; her first husband, John W. Nestor, and her second husband, Clifton Light Sr. Her son, John Brian Nestor. Daughter-in-law Betty Nestor and sister Marie Graves. Several other brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Carolyn worked for Marion County Board of Education as a cook for many years before she retired. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Fairmont. Carolyn's family would like to thank WVU Hospice and Marion County Senior Citizens for the wonderful that they gave Carolyn.
