Carolyn Ann Parnell Williams, 72, of Bladenboro passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was born in Bladen County on February 6, 1953, the daughter of the late Leroy Parnell and Emma Lee Deaver Parnell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Williams.
Carolyn was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed doing for others and always made everyone feel special. A talker by nature, she spoke what was on her mind and in her heart. Carolyn loved her family, friends, coffee, bingo and animals. She had a special place in her heart for her fur baby Razzle. Her favorite pastimes included watching The Voice, the Carolina Panthers, and spending time with her loved ones. The unwavering love of others and her friendly disposition will always be held dear in the hearts of those who know and love her.
Left to cherish her sweet memory are children, Carol Ellis (Troy) of Elizabethtown, Tracy Holt of Bladenboro, Shaun Williams (Kathy) of White Lake, Eric Williams (Jennifer) of Bladenboro and Crystal Saturnino (Ciro) of Loris, SC, sister Judy Cain of Fairmont, nine grandchildren: Pedro Holt, Summer Holt, Amber Robeson, Bryley Williams, Matthew Zeitchik, Joshua Williamson, Shannon Saturnino, Isabel Saturnino and Emily Saturnino, and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Bladenboro Chapel of Bladen Gaskins followed by a funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor William Morales officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Deaver Family Cemetery on Horseshoe Rd in Elizabethtown.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral fund of Carolyn Williams.
The family will receive friends at the home Eric and Jennifer Williams 377 Hayes Stanley Drive, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
