Carolyn Sue Paxson, 87, of Noblesville, IN, passed away at 8:40 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 15, 1937 to Donald & Martha (Abbott) Crouse. In 1955, Sue was part of the final graduating class of Jefferson High School at Deerfield. She previously worked at Economy Printing, Berne, IN, and at her Aunt Daisy's tavern in Redkey, IN, where she met her loving husband of 53 years, Kenneth Dale Paxson. Sue left the workforce to spend time with her grandkids, and she rarely missed attending their activities. No matter the weather, she could be seen on the sidelines of a soccer game or in the audience of a concert or play. She also enjoyed taking classes through Update Learning, including line dancing, crafts, and exercise. She was a member of the En Avant Club in Pennville, IN. In 2018, she moved from her home in Pennville to live with her granddaughter in Noblesville, which gave her the opportunity to spend even more time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She loved watching Bluey, Father Brown, and murder mysteries. She had a mischievous spirit and was always tricking her family into getting her cheeseburgers for dinner.
She will be forever missed by her Son – Brian Paxson, Noblesville, IN, Daughter – Karla (Kevin) Vaughn, Pendleton, IN, Granddaughters – Jennifer (Howie) Dougherty, Sheridan, IN, Jessica Paxson, Olympia, WA, Grandsons – Nathaniel Paxson, Indianapolis, IN, Luke (Emily) Vaughn, Muncie, IN, Logan Vaughn, Greenfield, IN, Great-granddaughters – Kinsley Dougherty, Harper Dougherty, Elodie Vaughn, Jovie Vaughn, Great-grandson, David Vaughn, Sister-in-law - Mary (Miller) Crouse, and many Nieces and Nephews.
