Carolyn Sue Perry

Carolyn Sue Perry, age 86, of French Creek, the Indian Camp community, died Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born on April 3, 1939, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Paul Emerson and Janet Marie Jackson Loudin. On September 29, 1959, she was united in marriage to Buddy R. Perry who survives. Also surviving are one daughter Angie and husband Matt Cutlip of Cleveland, WV; two sons: Buddy L. Perry and wife Anne of Harper's Ferry, WV and Matt Perry and wife Brenda of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren: Buddy Miller, Nicole Perry, Jennifer and husband Justin Harris, Katherine Perry, Nathaniel Perry, and Cassidy and Kyra Perry; three great grandchildren: Ethan, Andrew, and Haven; one sister Linda Wygal of Indian Camp; four brothers: Richard Lee Loudin (Carol) of Buckhannon, Edward Gene Loudin (Linda Jean) of Westover, WV, Roger Paul Loudin (Peggy) of Fairfax, VA, and Ricky Gail Loudin (Patty) of Allenhurst, GA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law Bobby Wayne and Betty Loudin and brother-in-law David Wygal.

Carolyn attended the Indian Camp Methodist Church and was an active member of the Indian Camp Settlers. She loved visiting with people and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Indian Camp Cemetery.
