Carolyn Sue Poe

Germantown-Carolyn Sue (Wilson) Poe, 79, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1946 to the late Edgar and Fannie (McCormick) Wilson. She was an avid believer in Christ and attended Shannon Methodist Church. She was an awesome cook for Crounse Corporation. That loved to spend her time in the kitchen and garden with family. She is survived by her second husband, Yelton Poe. She is also survived by her children, Joseph "Bobby" Taylor and Deana (Jeff) Shields; two granddaughters, Hannah (Andrew) Patterson and Sarah Shields; two great granddaughters, Hazel Polly Patterson and Ruby Jane Patterson; five brothers, Cecil Wilson, Mike Wilson, David Wilson, Carlos Wilson, and Mark Wilson; and one sister, Connie Seipelt. She was preceded in death by her first husband, JoeBob Taylor; her daughter, Polly Taylor; and four brothers, Maurice Wilson, Willie Wilson, Russell Wilson, and Johnny Wilson; and two sisters, Linda Jones and Ruth Ann Rickett. Funeral will be 2 pm on Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home in Germantown. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
