Carolyn Seaman, age 80, and resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born on March 7th, 1943 in Mojave Desert, California, and passed on October 17th, 2023 in Mobile. Carolyn, mom, or Grammie as she was known by her family and friends was an amazing, strong willed, adventurous woman! She retired from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, during her time at the Corp, she volunteered to go to Iraq as a Civil Service Employee. She loved to travel and was always ready for an adventure. Carolyn was passionate about her love for dogs. Some might say she liked dogs more than some people. Carolyn, mom, Grammie will be missed by all those who had the privilege to know her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by; her parents, Anna Mae Nemeth, and Charlie James Watson; and brother, David Watson.
Carolyn is survived by; her sister, Beverly Bass; beloved daughter, Natalie (Ricky) Bagwell; beloved son, Christopher (Jamie) Seaman; grandchildren, Kevin (Christina) Braden, Sean (Tish) Braden, Amber (Ricky) Tran, Beth (John) Malpas, Christy (Phillip) Robbins, Austin (Ashley) McKerchie, and Layla Seaman; 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many dear friends, especially those she made at University Oaks Retirement Community.
Funeral services for Carolyn Seaman will be held Friday, October 20th, 2023, at 10 A.M., at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Father Neske pastor of Holy Family officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
