Carolyn Louise "Price" Stevens (Price)

Carolyn Louise Stevens (Price), 79, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away on August 4, 2025. Born on July 9, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Dixie Marie and Thomas Leroy Price.

A proud wife, mother, granny and great-granny, Carolyn's life was centered around family & faith. She is lovingly survived by her children, Gary W. Stevens II and Lori Stevens; her granddaughters, Brittany Haehlen (husband Josh) and Anna Tackett; and her three great-grandchildren, Evelyn Haehlen, Violet Haehlen, and Oliver Haehlen. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Tackett. Carolyn now joins her husband, Gary W. Stevens.

Carolyn dedicated many years of her life as a kindergarten teacher's aide at McDowell Elementary. She loved decorating, crafting, shopping, gardening and enjoying time with family.

As a woman of faith, Carolyn was a devoted member of the Flatwoods Church of Christ.

Carolyn will be remembered for her strength, faith, and fun-loving spirit-a mother, granny, sister, and friend who loved a nap after a big family meal, digging in her roses, baking a pone of cornbread, dancing to old records, decorating a sentimental antique, sipping a cold Pepsi swinging on the porch, and a big shopping trip.
