Carolyn Patricia Talbott

Mass of Christian burial for Carolyn Patricia Talbott, 81, of Perry, will be at 10:00 AM Saturday April 1, 2023 at St. William Catholic Church in Perry with celebrant Father John Henderson and concelebrant Father Lou Dorn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in rural Center.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM
Mrs. Talbott passed away at 2:29 PM Sunday March 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 21, 1942 in St. Louis the daughter of Walter and Mary Walsh Rudolf.
Carolyn would marry the love of her life Charles V. Talbott on May 27, 1967 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1993.
She is survived by her seven children; Christopher (Michelle Kennedy) Talbott of Murphy, TX, Laura (David) Leake of New London, Mary (Jim) McDevitt of St. Louis, David (Angela) Talbott of Center, Tom Talbott of Plano, TX, Suzie (Chris) Silliman of Florissant, and Becca (Quinton) Evans of Center, nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles and three siblings; Larry, David, and Ursula Rudolf.
Carolyn graduated salutatorian from St. Anthony High School in 1960. She worked for 15+ years at Perry State Bank and 39 years as the secretary for St. William Catholic Church in Perry. She was very active in her Church also serving as a CCD teacher and member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed reading, embroidering, playing scrabble, penguins, helping with Relay For Life, watching Cardinals Baseball and the Kentucky Derby, but most of all she enjoyed her time spent with family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lincoln Talbott, Dawson Talbott, Steven Leake, Cameron Talbott, Brian Bowness, and Wyatt Evans
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Whelan, Charles Leake, Jamie Myers, Amanda Bowness, Emily Evans, Ethan Evans, Nova Silliman, Isabel Silliman, Cassie Talbott, Colin McDevitt, Torie Gargiulo, Trevor Gargiulo, Logan Brantley, Colton Brantley, and Peyton Brantley.
