Carolyn Geraldine Tortorello, of Morristown, beloved wife, aunt and friend died peacefully on February 27th, 2025, following a brief illness. She was 69.
Born in Newark to the late Angela and Francis Dominy, Carolyn worked for Certara, as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the President. Previously she was a long time employee of the Colgate Palmolive Corporation.
She was the beloved wife of Anthony Tortorello, the loving sister of Gerard Dominy (Robin),and devoted aunt of Cameron, Julianna, Joseph and John. She is also survived by Sister in law Barbara Tortorello
Lyn was very involved with her church. She was a lector, led Women's Cornerstone, she was involved in Pre Cana, and many other Ministries. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, reading and cruising around the world.
Family and friends are invited to her visitation at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd in Whippany on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following morning at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel, 75 Ridgedale Avenue in Cedar Knolls beginning at 10:00 a.m. Her interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
