Born on March 19, 1945, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Chester and Edith (Lacy) Tribby, Carolyn spent her formative years in Freeman, MO, where she attended Van Meter Rural School #110 before graduating from Midway High School. On September 6, 1969, she married the love of her life, Donald Unnewehr, at South Fork Baptist Church in Freeman, where the seeds of their enduring love were planted. A devoted member of her community and church, Carolyn truly embodied the values of kindness and generosity. Her infectious spirit and love for life brought people together, and her friends and family will forever cherish the time spent in her presence.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald Unnewehr. She is survived by her loving son, Cheston, and his wife, Joanna, Unnewehr; as well as, many friends.
