Carolyn L. "Carol" Volta

Penfield/Conesus/Fort Meyers
August 26, 2022 peacefully at home at age 83.
She is predeceased by her parents, Patrick & Gertrude Laveck, brother John Laveck and sister Helene Miner.
Carol is survived by her husband of 61 years Alex; children, Sheila Volta, Sue (Scott) Lorenz and Jeff (Julia) Volta; grandchildren, Matt (Maria) Lorenz, Sarah Lorenz, Katie Lorenz, and Marshall and Oliver Volta; sisters and brother, Geraldine Foley, Ted (Pam) Laveck, Patricia Flansburg, and Sandra (Dan) Huff, many nieces and nephews.
Carol was born and raised in Rochester's 19th ward, she married her husband Alex in October of 1960. She and Alex lived and raised their family in Pittsford, Goshen N.Y. and Fairport. Carol spent many Summers hosting her family and friends at their family home on Conesus Lake. Later in life, she and Alex spent their winters in Ft. Myers Florida, where she forged many new friendships golfing and playing cards. She also enjoyed the many, many visits from her family and friends.
Above all, Carol was a loving and supportive, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was so loved and will be dearly missed.
Her family will be scheduling a celebration of her life at a later date.
