Carolyn Olga (Bair) Wise, 86-year-old well known Pryor resident, passed away from injuries received during an automobile accident on December 11, 2024, at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on January 16, 1938, in Copan, Oklahoma to Delmar Howard Bair and Olga Mae (Fellabaum) Bair. Carolyn graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1955. On August 22, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jeff Davis Wise; he preceded her in death on June 13, 2001. They had moved to Pryor in 1963, where she went to work for Melton's, then for O.J. Miller Feed store, and for American Bank for many years. She worked as Pryor City Court Clerk for many years and retired from there. She then decided to work part-time for Ann's Cleaners and then for AARP with the Workforce Employment program. Carolyn served two terms on the Pryor City Council as well. It was no secret that she was a huge Elvis Presley fan back in the day as she was able to attend 3 of his concerts with friends. Early on in her life she also enjoyed bowling in a League. She dearly loved to play Bingo, playing Bunco with her friends, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Just being on the go with her long-time friend Clara Key and being with the people she knew and loved. Also loved the time that she spent with her Grandchildren and her Great Grandchildren very much.
Preceding her in death, husband Jeff and her parents, 2 brothers Robert Bair and Ronald Bair.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Wise and wife Kim of Fort Smith, Steven Wise of Pryor, grandchildren Tristin and her husband Brad Pogue of Fort Smith, Charley Wise of Fort Smith, great-grandchildren, Parker, Paisley, Preston, and Patrick Pogue of Fort Smith.
Very special friends Jim Hartman and Clara Key.

Willard Buchanan, Greg Wise, Robert Davis, Mike Downs, Paul Engle and David Engle
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor, with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Rusty Harrison will officiate. Interment will follow at the Graham Cemetery in Pryor. Online condolences may be made at www.stephens-key.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in care of Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
