Carolyn Yeggy, born on November 2, 1923, in Middletown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, just days shy of her 102nd birthday. Carolyn was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by dedication to her family, commitment to her community, and an unwavering spirit.

A proud graduate of Middletown High School, Carolyn exemplified resilience and hard work throughout her life. During the war, she took on the challenge of working three jobs, most notably serving as the primary statistician for the First National Bank of Middletown. Her dedication extended well beyond her professional life; she was deeply involved with Sunday School, where she both taught and served as Superintendent, dedicating over 70 years to meticulous record-keeping.

In addition to her roles within the church, Carolyn volunteered at St. Dominic's as head gym teacher and assistant secretary for more than 20 years, showcasing her love for nurturing and educating the younger generation. A gifted bookkeeper, she assisted in the financial operations of various family businesses, including House of Chrome and NYPS. Her willingness to lend a helping hand wherever she could made her a cherished member of her community.

Carolyn believed in the importance of health and wellbeing, maintaining an active lifestyle throughout her life. Her commitment to physical fitness reflected not only her desire for personal wellness but also her understanding of its importance to living a fulfilling life.

Carolyn leaves behind her loving sons, Robert C. Yeggy and his wife Beth, and David Yeggy and his wife Debra. She also cherished her grandchildren: Sarah, Mary, Jacob, Nicole, Robert, Joshua, Miriam, Naomi, Lydia, Jordan, Jared, Danae, and a multitude of great-grandchildren, all of whom carry on her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Paul Yeggy; her daughter Evelyn Lynch; and her son John Paul Yeggy. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Moore and Susie Moore Smith; her sister, Colleen Minge; her brother-in-law, Dick Minge; as well as her in-laws Joseph and Ruth Kelley, and Harry and Laverne James. Each of these individuals played a vital role in her journey, and they will be remembered alongside her cherished memory.

Visitation will take place at the Anderson Ferry Church of Christ in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service starting at 10:00 AM. The church is located at 380 Greenwell Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Memorials may be made in her name to Anderson Ferry Food Pantry, BLOC ministries, or the United Way.

Carolyn Yeggy's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her family and the countless lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered as a woman who lived a life of purpose and service.
